Passionate about Sports- Cricket, Hockey- Can't miss the Action!!!
I've been a big sports fan specially of Field Hockey and Cricket since I was a kid. My childhood memories include playing Cricket in the Central Park and the Car Parking of Prasad Nagar, New Delhi (A lot of flat owners were opposed to our playing not because I had broken some glasses but because they thought we were destroying the greenery of the park. Its really ironic the same park was used for ceremonies where the older people used to throw rubbish oh might be that was organic) but it was real fun. Even in my school- Modern School, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi (Yes I am a Modernite) I am known to my school mates till date because of sports specially cricket though I was good at Field hockey and Swimming also. In my colony(Prasad Nagar) when I used to bowl some younger boys called me "Shatabadi Express" which is one of the fastest trains in India.
Sports for me was the most exciting thing be it cricket hockey and lately football and I was always ready for playing.Yeah I am more passionate about sports than any other thing including internet.

Out of the Cricket World Cup's till date my favourite one was The 1992 World Cup held in Australia and New Zealand which was won by Pakistan under the captaincy of Imran Khan.
Out of the Football World Cup's I really liked watching The Italia World Cup - the Baggio's, the Zenga's but the winner was the Lothar's Germany.
I would like to give my special mention to my "Mama" - Maternal Uncle Dr. Jatinder Singh who helped and tried to build passion for cricket in me though I was not able to do justice to his and many other's expectations. I feel really sad that I could have done really good specially in cricket and/or hockey if I had pursued it a little harder. Anyways I keep playing whenever the opportunity comes like Cricket practice at The Indian Institute Of Technology (IIT), Delhi.
Nowadays since I have to spend most of the time on my laptop doing internet research, website promotion and search engine optimization the best tool for fulfilling my sports desires is TV. Seeing live matches, highlights, previews etc. of special sports events or going for Jogging at East Patel Nagar, New Delhi
My Favourite Sports Channels(India) are: Star Cricket, ESPN Star and Ten Sports. I also love watching the sports section on The News Channel - NDTV India 24 X 7 and believe it or not I generally sleep in the night after watching BBC World's roundup of Sports News.
Lets see how well the Commonwealth Games in Delhi - 2010 are organised. Its a a dream come true for any city.
Yeah I am a real Sports Fan!
